Bindlach, Lohr am Main Knoll Hydraulik, a company based in Bindlach, has established a global reputation as a specialist and system partner for hydraulic plant manufacture and individual hydraulic systems. At four sites in the German-speaking region, more than 90 specialists combine their hydraulic experience and expertise to create a package unique to the sector: a package comprising engineering, machine construction, hydraulic service and component supply.

Since the company was founded, stable and long-term partnerships have been part of the corporate philosophy of Knoll Hydraulik. This year the company also marks a 40-year sales partnership with Bosch Rexroth AG, the leading manufacturer of hydraulic components, plants and systems.

Partners from the outset

Thirty years after Bosch opened a service centre for diesel system repairs in Bayreuth, the company took its first step to becoming a hydraulic specialist under the guidance of Manfred Knoll. Distribution and repair of Bosch hydraulics led to the establishment of a separate hydraulics department in 1977. In the same year, Knoll became an official sales partner for Bosch hydraulics in the Middle and Upper Franconia regions (and Lower Franconia as from 1984).

In the years that followed, Knoll managed the factories of Robert Bosch GmbH in the sales region. Following the takeover of Mannesmann Rexroth AG by Robert Bosch GmbH, Knoll was re-contracted as the official sales partner to Bosch Rexroth AG in the field of industrial hydraulics.

Today Knoll Hydraulik GmbH & Co. KG in Bindlach and MHS Hydraulik Systeme GmbH have developed into one of the biggest Bosch-Rexroth sales partners in Germany, and the largest regional office in Bavaria. The company is expanding its distribution range to include linear technology, servomotors, electrical engineering and assembly systems from Bosch Rexroth.

“Our collaboration with Bosch is a major milestone in the history of our company, which now spans more than 85 years. It shows that strong and equitable partnerships have a long-term future on the market.”

- Manfred Knoll (Managing Partner for the Group)
