A doer for three decades: Our boss Stephan Reger celebrates service anniversary

Stephan Reger feiert 30-jähriges Dienstjuiläum bei Knoll Hydraulik
21.03.2023

From project engineer to managing director: In his 30 years at Knoll Hydraulik, Stephan Reger has experienced a lot and driven many things forward.

Having previously started his career as a machinist and CNC programmer, Stephan Reger has been writing his unique story at Knoll Hydraulik as employee number 7 since March 1993.

In any profession, you can work through your stuff in a routine manner or be creative, develop ideas and put them into practice. The latter has always been my drive.

- Stephan Reger

According to this credo, he starts with us as a hydraulics project engineer. Like a flower in the sun, the company grows and flourishes over the years and with it his tasks. Among other things, Stephan Reger was responsible for the creation of circuit diagrams, the incoming and outgoing goods or the planning of the workshop. But also when there is a "need on the man", he lends a hand and sometimes even assembles aggregates himself. His constant hunger for further development is reflected in his wide range of tasks and training courses. When it comes to large-scale projects in the field of CAD or in cooperation with Bosch, Reger really blossoms and puts things into practice. His commitment does not go unnoticed: in 2014, for example, he was given procuration, and since 2019 he has been appointed managing director together with Christian Rieß. He is also active as a spokesman for the Bosch Rexroth Certified Excellence partners for southern Germany.

Over the course of time, however, numerous crises also had to be mastered:

There is always a solution! Working with customers at eye level, not telling fairy tales and tackling things realistically will also lead to sustainable success.

- Stephan Reger

But despite all his successes and his position as CEO, Stephan Reger has always remained down-to-earth. He does a lot of things with his wife and son and volunteers with the fire department.

As a boss, he always has an open ear for the concerns of his employees and takes time for their needs. His friendly manner and respectful treatment of others are exemplary. He always comes up with new ideas and demonstrates courage by taking unusual paths. However, he never loses sight of the essentials and always keeps the needs of our customers in focus. His commitment and skills have contributed significantly to the growth and success of Knoll Hydraulik. As early as 1993, he was looking for a good employer "with whom I would like to stay until I retire" - and as you can see: The chances look very good. For the future, he would like to see "hydraulics" get away from its dirty and oily image:

Digitalization, automation and Industry 4.0 have long since arrived at our company. It is exciting to see what is possible in our field. It offers incredible potential and jobs for the future.

- Stephan Reger

Together they tackled a lot, went through a lot and achieved a lot in the three decades.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Stephan Reger for his passion and outstanding work!
