Within the scope of a risk analysis of the electrotechnical control system extension, it was determined that the press safety of the 1,600 to press there had to be strengthened according to the current state of the art. We tackled this challenge in close and dynamic cooperation and were able to offer solution-oriented options.
In connection with the customer's renewal of the electrotechnical control system, an additional safety block was integrated into the machine in cooperation with Bosch Rexroth, and the existing press safety block was supplemented with position-monitored cartridge cartridges.
The installation of new piping as well as hose connections was carried out by our service technicians on site. In the course of this, among other things, the hydraulic accumulators were also replaced with accumulator safety blocks. For mounting the additional press safety block, our CAD design department supplied a special solution for installation in the existing machine frame.
